This course examines the essential business practices and administrative strategies required to successfully operate a nonprofit spiritual organization. Students will explore the multifaceted challenges of ministry management with particular emphasis on four core pillars: financial stewardship and budgeting, organizational structure and governance, volunteer recruitment and engagement, and strategic community outreach.

Through practical case studies and real-world applications, participants will develop the skills necessary to build sustainable ministries that serve their communities effectively while maintaining fiscal responsibility and organizational integrity.

Topics include nonprofit accounting principles, grant writing and fundraising strategies, board development, volunteer retention best practices, marketing and public relations for spiritual organizations, legal compliance, and ethical leadership in ministry contexts.

Students will learn to balance the spiritual mission of their organization with the practical demands of nonprofit administration, creating frameworks for growth, stability, and meaningful community impact. This course is ideal for current ministry leaders, aspiring nonprofit administrators, and anyone seeking to transform their spiritual calling into a well-managed, thriving organization.

Teaching is a skill and just like any other skill it can be learned.  This course will introduce you to methods that will make you a successful teacher.  The class will explore how you can become an effective educator and work in a positive and supportive manner with your students as a group.  Teaching one-on-one is different than teaching a group.  This course will better prepare you to meet the needs of a group of students.
