Celtics myths and deities stand at the
center of the development of Gardnarian Wicca. This course will explore
the different areas of the Celtic world and how their pantheons
interrelated and differed. Major deities and myth cycles will be
introduced. Students will learn about the complex Celtic pantheon and
how it changed and merged with other cultures. Irish, Welsh, Scottish,
and European myths and legends will be discussed. The course lays the foundation for the mythological stories so that students can understand what they are reading. The course is concerned with the complex issues behind Celtic myths so that students can understand what they are reading.
No prerequisites are required to take this course.
